Rashtriya vikas Ltd.

established in pre independence era of 1947 introduced its carbon products manufacturing unit as UNIKA in the year 1967 which makes us the second oldest carbon manufacturing unit in India now serving its customer for over five decades. And during this time a young business graduate named Surendra Kumar joined the workforce as production manager.

In the year 1993 RVL launched 'Neotech Carbon' under the leadership of Mr. Surendra kumar in Gwalior especially to cater the indigenization requirements of defence sector and have successfully developed aviation grade carbon brushes in partnership with National Physical Laboratory and HALs.

Meet the Technocrat

Mr. Surendra Kumar Gupta

Mr. Surendra Kumar began his career in the carbon industry as a production manager and has since dedicated over 50 years to advancing carbon technology across various domains. With hands-on experience in every aspect of the business, from sourcing raw materials to closing sales, he has earned a prominent reputation in the industry.

In 1993, Mr. Kumar founded Neotech Carbon to address the Indian Air Force's challenges in sourcing carbon brushes for Russian fighter aircrafts. By 2024, Neotech Carbon had not only secured CEMILAC approvals for its base materials but also successfully indigenized over 130 types of carbon brushes.

Simultaneously, Mr. Kumar climbed the corporate ladder at his previous company, ultimately acquiring Rashtriya Vikas Ltd. in 2003. The company ran successfully in Varanasi until 2023, when production was moved to Gwalior for greater efficiency. Today, the company is now run by his son Mr. Aachman Gupta under his guidance and blessings.

Mr. Aachman Gupta

Mr. Aachman Kumar Gupta is a young blood who started working with his father Mr. Sundera kumar ji since the age of 21 and now has an experience of over 18 years. Being taught business like in a baniya family he learnt every expect of it and now looks after the marketing and operation of it. Meanwhile he still earned an MBA degree from Delhi to formalize it.

Apart from business he enjoys the journey of his spiritual path with Gardening, Books and Satsangs. Helping him to maintain a balance in work and extends the meaning of business apart from profits.

Meet the team

We boast of a team with employees working for even 40 years with us as a family. The employees which were employed at the inception of the company are still with us and are responsible for all the good work we have been able to do over the years. Not only that we have not change the suppliers since the very beginning and are very particular about sourcing of materials.
We have also invested heavily on Laboratory as per the need of R&D for the Indian Air force and HALs. We now also have multiple machinery set
